Where families start
A structured day with people you know: cooking in our kitchen, art, music, life skills and getting out into the community. It runs from a centre we own and staff ourselves — so you can walk in, meet the crew and watch a session before you commit to anything.

Why we exist
Focus was founded by people who had already lived it — disability inside their own family and among close friends, and the long, wearing experience of trying to find support that stayed. That’s why the whole thing is built on empathy, trust and security rather than a service catalogue.
It also means we’re not a call centre. Our Operations Manager is a qualified pharmacist with more than ten years in mental health, including working with people living with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. When something complex comes up in a plan, that experience is already in the room.
We’re a small provider and we intend to stay one. It’s the only way a support worker can genuinely know the person they’re turning up for.

Come to our Lakemba office or the Belfield group centre, meet the people who'd actually be supporting you, and see the place with your own eyes.
We start with the supports you need most and add from there. You keep choice and control over who comes, when, and what they do.
Our supports are charged at the rates set out in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits — the same published rates every registered provider works to. We will walk you through exactly which line items your supports draw from before anything starts.
No. If you have not applied yet, call us anyway — we will talk you through eligibility and the access request process, and point you to the right forms. If you already have a plan, bring it and we will read it with you.
A lot of the families who come to us have. Tell us what went wrong. Usually it comes down to workers who did not turn up or who changed every fortnight, and that is exactly the thing a small local team is built to fix.
We work across Sydney's inner west and south-west — Lakemba, Belfield and the surrounding Canterbury-Bankstown suburbs. If you are just outside that, call and ask; we would rather tell you honestly than stretch too thin.
